HealthTech Cube ("HealthTech Cube," "we," "us," or "our") is a global digital publication covering the healthcare technology landscape, operated as part of the Cube family of publications. We are committed to protecting the privacy of every visitor, subscriber, and contributor. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use healthtechcube.com (the "Site"), how we use and protect it, with whom we may share it, and the rights and choices available to you. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
This policy applies to information collected when you browse the Site, read our articles and newsletters, subscribe to the HTC Weekly newsletter, download materials, submit forms (contact, guest article pitches, media kit requests), or otherwise interact with us. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, including the original publishers we credit in our coverage; those sites are governed by their own privacy policies.
When you subscribe, contact us, or submit a form, we may collect your name, work email address, company, job title or role, country, and the content of your message. Providing this information is voluntary; without it we may be unable to deliver the requested service, such as a newsletter subscription or a response to your inquiry.
Like most publishers, we automatically collect certain non-personally-identifiable information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, time spent, and approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address. This is collected through server logs and cookies, and is used to measure traffic, understand which coverage matters to readers, detect fraud and abuse, and improve the Site.
As a business-to-business publication, we may compile professional contact information about industry executives and companies from publicly available sources such as company websites, press releases, professional networks, and public filings. We use this information for editorial research, industry analysis, and, where lawful, business communications. We verify and organize such information and handle it in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
We use the information we collect to deliver and improve the Site and our editorial products; send the newsletters and updates you request; respond to inquiries, pitches, and partnership requests; measure and analyze readership so we can commission better coverage; personalize content where you have asked us to; maintain the security and integrity of the Site; comply with legal obligations; and, with your consent where required, inform you about relevant products, events, and services from us or our carefully selected partners.
The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the Site functioning. Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate usage patterns; they do not identify you personally to us. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, and most browsers allow you to refuse cookies entirely. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from reading our coverage, though some features may work less smoothly.
Our newsletters are strictly opt-in. Every marketing email we send includes a working unsubscribe link, and opting out takes effect promptly. Transactional messages (for example, a reply to your inquiry) are not affected by marketing opt-outs. We measure aggregate open and click statistics to improve our editorial products.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not distribute or give your personal information to third parties for their own marketing without your knowledge and consent. We share information only in the following limited circumstances: with service providers who process data on our behalf (such as email delivery, hosting, and analytics providers) under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations; within the Cube family of publications for legitimate operational purposes consistent with this policy; where disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; where necessary to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the successor to honor this policy or notify you of changes.
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, newsletter subscriptions), which you may withdraw at any time; performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; our legitimate interests as a publisher, including audience measurement, security, and business-to-business communication, balanced against your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with equivalent protections, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you; rectification of inaccurate data; erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten"); restriction of processing; data portability in a structured, machine-readable format; and to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing, at any time. You also have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@healthtechcube.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by Articles 12-23 of the GDPR.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, and the purposes for collecting it; the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to statutory exceptions (such as completing a transaction you requested, detecting security incidents, or complying with a legal obligation); the right to correct inaccurate personal information; and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA. Requests may be submitted to privacy@healthtechcube.com; we will verify your identity before acting on a request.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy: subscriber data for as long as your subscription is active plus a reasonable period thereafter; correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter; and analytics data in aggregate form. When data is no longer needed, we delete or irreversibly anonymize it.
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS across the entire Site), access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
We operate globally, with offices in Dubai, the United States, and Singapore, and our service providers may process data in other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or transfers to jurisdictions with adequacy decisions.
The Site is a business publication intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Our coverage credits and links to original publishers, and the Site contains links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
